Casa B

This restaurant project is our first of it’s kind and we couldn’t be prouder to work with owners Angelina and Alberto Cabre to make their vision come alive. This husband and wife team will be opening Casa B Restaurant in just a few weeks to Union Square in Somerville, MA. Here is an inside look at our site visit today. Stay tuned for the opening date. There is a lot of work to be done but we’ll all be ready to toast by the end of the month. Stay tuned!! Here is a link to their current site.

Welcome to Casa B! You will be greeted by Angelina as you enter the foyer of the restaurant. I guarantee you’ll feel welcomed immediately when you see the big smile on her face! She is one of my favorites!!
You may opt to dine in the more “casual” dining area to your left. Or choose to head downstairs to the “underground living room” style dining area. The space is being designed to reflect the couple’s private dining restaurant they currently operate out of their Somerville home. Screen shot 2013-06-04 at 4.31.50 PM

We have designed a wall of reclaimed doors and windows to be installed on this stair hall wall. We’ve been collecting for months! A few more doors to pick up this weekend and we’ll be ready to start installing. Soon our vision will come to life! Screen shot 2013-06-04 at 4.32.18 PM

Finalizing the paint schedule and color placement for the painters. Colored pencils are always a sure fire way to create a clear map for the painters. Especially when you’re working with so many colors 🙂 Screen shot 2013-06-04 at 4.33.31 PM

A sneak peak at the green wall. You’ll have to come in to see the full wall for yourself. I’ve honestly never seen anything like. It’s been growing in a green house for months and was just installed. Amazing!Screen shot 2013-06-04 at 4.34.39 PM
