Alison Pruchansky

Designer

Alison joined the KMID team at the start of 2015. As a designer and coordinator, she quickly put her technical skills with Photoshop and Sketchup to work, completely re-hauling the presentation style at KMID, conveying the vision to clients in a concise and clear way. Alison’s collaborative attitude, passion for design, and intellectual problem solving has quickly become indispensable to the growing firm.

Alison received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History/Religion with a concentration in Fine Art from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.  Her pursuit of the glamorous life of a starving artist led her to Washington, DC. There she founded AMPle art, a company selling her paintings while also working in a variety of museums and galleries, including The Phillips Collection and the Elizabeth Roberts Gallery.

Alison’s passion for art and design led her to complete a Master’s of Interior Design from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, DC with a concentration in Exhibition Design. After graduation she moved back to Boston and spent the following years working in Project Management and Business Development at Suffolk Construction.

She still enjoys painting and designing exhibits at the Somerville Museum.
